Answer: This is a virtual catalog it will hold as many artists that would like to join our project, we launch October 1, 2013.
3. Question: I only see a blog where is your website?
Answer: see blog number two, it’s not rocket science just a bad web developer.
4. Question: How do you distribute the catalog and to who?
Answer: Distribution is online, paper catalogs can and will be printed and ordered right from the website once this capability on the website, is turned on. Distribution means something totally different online than it does in paper.
5. Question: How many artists to date?
Answer: Think about it, would you give out your client list if it were confidential? We are glad you have interest but counting the artists is not something we will be putting out there for mass consumption.
6. Question: How will we get amazing exposure?
Answer: Our goal is to use our vast experience of SEO to drive traffic to the artist’s pages in the catalog. Plus, we will be instigating a buyer’s premium program which will be launched in October. At this time we will not get into it but it will be fully explained once the program comes online. Some things are exclusive to the catalog’s business plan and as such will unfold as we come fully online. Plus there are other common methods.
7. Question: Who are your sponsors?
Answer: We appreciate your interest but just because we have sponsors does not mean they are public information. However, there are two types, those that will purchase ad space and those that pay the difference between what the artist pays for their exposure and what advertisers pay for the same space. The sponsors who have undying faith in what we will be doing sometimes prefer to be generous donors but invisible. We will honor that to continue to receive their generous help.
8. Question: What do the sponsors pay for?
Answer: Ad space is either $125.00 for a box ad at the bottom of the page or for a whole page it is $525.00. Private sponsors cover the cost of the pages, sometimes multiple pages.
9. Question: How many galleries are in the catalog?
Answer: Again we appreciate the interest but some questions are questions about business that no one would give out. In this case we will not be giving out that information. Gallery inclusion will come on board after the launch of the catalog. Those signed up with us know who they are, understand the concept and are excited for our efforts.
10. Question: Are you mixing visual artists with writers?
Answer: No. The samples you see right now of course do not have all the bells and whistles. They are just a sample of what you are going to see.
11. Question: How much does it cost an artist?
Answer: $25.00 a year for a double page spread, for the catalog. $150.00 a year for the personal flipbook portfolio, we never take a commission on sales even if we are a party to arraigning the sale for you.
